Not much time to post because I’m on one of those pay-by-the-minute internet computers, but: had an incredible time in LA; want to stay longer, but Air New Zealand won’t let me (or they will, but they’ll charge me US$180 for the privilege); am sunburned, and it serves me right for going carelessly into the California sunshine with mid-winter Melbourne skin; and melatonin kicks jetlag’s ass.
